Shopify Plus order editing: what Plus adds
Plus gives you more control of checkout, not a customer “edit my order” button. Post-purchase self-serve editing works the same on Basic, Shopify, Advanced and Plus: through an app.
What Plus does add
- Deeper checkout customisation and validation (catch bad addresses before payment)
- Shopify Flow automations such as tagging or holding risky orders (Flow is also on other plans now)
- Higher API limits for apps and custom tooling
What Plus doesn’t add
- A native customer-facing order edit
- Automatic invoice/packing-slip regeneration after an edit
